During the academy, a select number of attendees may have the opportunity to observe Dr. Ashkan Ghavami and Dr. Alfredo Hoyos directly within the operating room.

This is not a recording. It is real-time access to how experienced surgeons think, plan and adjust while a procedure is underway.

Observe in Real Time

Inside the operating room, attendees can see how a surgeon:

• Confirms the plan against the patient's anatomy
• Selects the plane and the cannula
• Reads tissue response as the procedure develops
• Decides where to be aggressive and where to hold back
• Determines when the contour is complete

These are the judgments that separate a good result from a great one, and they are rarely captured in a textbook.

An Immersive Educational Experience

Operating room access is intentionally limited. This is designed to be an immersive educational experience, not simply another conference.

By keeping the environment focused, attendees can connect what they hear in the lectures to what they see in surgery, and then to the questions they bring back to the faculty.

Why It Matters

Advanced body contouring is a discipline of judgment as much as technique. Watching that judgment unfold in real time gives context that no summary can replace.
